PCB assemblies invariably require an amount of inspection either using a sampling process or 100% which takes time and adds to the cost of production. With the Marantz 22x Automatic Optical Inspection machine employed by Walkbury the time taken to inspect and check the orientation on each component is reduced considerably.
This technology ensures all components are the correct value and that any components with polarity are placed the right way round. Walkbury uses this technology for all PCB assembly as it reduces the cost of inspecting boards, a saving which is passed on to our customers.
